We are a group of NUS students studying the GEK1056: Visual Culture module. This blog was set up as part of our project and aims to introduce iconology of animals in different cultures' art. Please understand that this is only the surface and there is much more to be explored.
Besides cultures of different countries we would also like to touch on contemporary culture. Animals are often used to describe the personalities of people. Spirit animal quiz is one example which we tried and encourage you to do so as well. Check out the outcome below:
